I think the 3rd was more gory than this one, but it definitely messed with ur mind!! Anyone else seen is and looking forward to the 5th??? I cant wait, I saw this one the third day it was released in theaters. Whoever writes this crap is sick.... very sick... yet we keep coming back for more!

Saw 4 was terrible.
There was not even the slightest hint of a plot, AT ALL. EVER.
Saw 1 was decent, 2 was mediocre, 3 was poor.
There are good horror films, that have plot, dialogue, etc, and they are 'scary' as well as intelligent. Most horror films however, are nothing better than 1970s Grindhouse flicks, that think that a horror film requires blood and gore, a ****ty lead actress and explosions.
Stupid American audiences may lap up that **** and call it chocolate, but I won't.
The franchise is dead, why won't they leave it instead of mutilating it further?

Some people think that in order be scary, a movie needs buckets of blood etc. Those people are also 12 years old & afraid to go to the bathroom by themselves after watching Batman.
If you watch a lot of movies, you'll notice horror isn't the only genre in decline, every single movie that was once good, decent, or in some cases, terrible, has been driven into the ground with sequels &/or remakes & the few original movies made every year (By original I mean a hackneyed rehash of some other movie released a few months before with a different name) are getting progressively worse.

I only seen Saw 1+3. The storyline for number 1 was a lot better, but I thought when he sawed his foot off it was kind of an anti-climax. Probably because I expected blood to spurt out, and you would see his veins and muscle and stuff trailing on the floor. I don't think it really needed to be an 18. I wasnt expecting the ending at all though.
