opinions on race

i've been reading a book called Mein Kampf, writin by Adolf Hitler. i just finished reading his chapter on race. now i don't agree that any race is better than the other. but it makes sense that different races are different. natives n africans n caucasians like myself all seem to act totally different. am i crazy or evil for thinking that each race is different? that most africans are better at sports, asians better at math, caucasians better at inventing new technology?

It really isn't something inherent, it mainly has to do with how the person grows up & the sort of mentality they are taught as a kid. Black people are generally better at sports because they practice more, seriously, I grew up in the ghetto & we played ball all day long when school was out, because there was nothing better to do & everyone loved sports. The people I hung out with weren't born athletes, they just played a lot of sports, most of us didnt have internet, or even cable & kids aren't usually into reading, so we played sports to pass the time.
Asians are generally better academically because their parents teach them from a young age to do math, etc. or they are punished, they are also insane about not dishonoring their families & things. All of the Asian kids I knew when I was a kid had strict parents who forced them to study a lot & get good grades so they could get into good colleges, etc.
White people just sometimes get so bored that they want to tinker in the garage & invent new things.
No one race really has a monopoly on any one thing, there are white & Asian athletes, black & white rocket scientists, & black & Asian invertors. Just depends on how that particular person was brought up as to what their interests are & how well they do in one specific area of their life.

I was very tempted to stop reading after I went over the very first sentence about Mein Kumpf. My opinion upon Hitler is very biased because he was a man who tried to wipe out an entire race and that hated people who weren't the "true" race (Arayans). Personally, race really has nothing to do with how people are. It depends upon their own environment and how they were brought up. I know black people who can't dance to save their lives but some people have the misconception that EVERY black person is a wonderful dancer. I know white people that are extremely athletic but some people have the misconception that white people aren't that good. I know Asians who get HORRIBLE grades, but people have it instilled in their minds that all Asians are brainiacs. Everything here about race is all opinionated based upon their own "true" fact. It's not just that races are different, but people are also different. Don't believe in the stereotypes, please.

All right. If you want to speak biologically, then I may have to agree with you upon that naturally those of African descent usually are stronger physically and that it's not in a pure [no mixing of anything other than some European descent] blooded Caucasian's blood to be able to withstand extreme heat and physical extertion. I mean, the reason why there was slavery to begin with was because of the fact that Africans could handle the conditions better than any other race. And YET... EVERY race really has all the capabilities that every other one has. Thus you may not THINK you are as good as the other minority kids in something else you actually already have it IN you, but this world has already been deeply (and harmfully) socialized to believe that certain races are dominant in certain things when really who is making that call? The word "minority" anyway pertains to those most of the time who aren't Caucasian and heterosexual. It pertains to those who aren't of European descent if you want to talk about American society and namely European society. And ANYWAY when it comes to Hitler. I'm aware that he did some good things, don't get me wrong, but that will never clear him for what he tried to do. He tried to rule most of the world. He tried to eliminate anyone that wasn't of Arayan blood or anyone that was generally different from his dream which includes (obviously) Jews, people of color, homosexuals and so forth. He was looking for blonde, blue-eyed, blue collared working people. I'm sorry, but my opinion STILL stands that Hitler is NOT a figure one should be looking to for a focused opinion upon race. Did you even KNOW that in Germany there is a large gap in that time of history because the Germans are actually ASHAMED of what had happened? It's not even necessarily the propaganda within America that twisted the truth sometimes, but even the people in that country damn well knew that Hitler screwed up. You need to check yourself before speaking about such a figure kid.

well it was the germans who experienced the most intense propaganda from the americans and soviets. and even then not all germans bought into it...my teachers dad who was in the hitler youth raves about how things were better with the nazi's. n the majority of ppl don't take the time to test the truth in propaganda, so they just believed what ppl put in their faces for long enough. so how the germans feel about hitler now doesn't say anything about the productivity and effectiveness of the 3rd reich. the americans started to baby them with a weak and lazy democracy so obviously they got soft.

lol, ya gotta keep in mind that it isn't that easy to translate german into english. any translation book will be a little hard to follow and not seem to always make sense. it's the same with the bible, a little unclear in english but in the orginal greek and hebrew it makes a lot more sense. not sure about the rant part, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

True very True .... especially the second paragraph(but i don't call myself as a genius in academics but i was quick at maths than my frens) ... as being a asian my parents were very strict with me ... they had plans about my future ..so.. they were so strict infact i had to ask for permisison everytime i had to anywhere.. they had thinking like i had to be with the books 24/7 so that i could do well in studies
lmao i still remember the days when my dad use to give me assignments where i had to stay awake studying till midnights meanwhile he would be snoring by that time .... but as i grew up things started being flexible ... and now i'm completely independent blaaahh!!
