Women + Fashion = Sweet Brown Kiwi Love?

Okay, so I was randomly thinking a second ago about a pair of shoes that I borrowed from my mother one time. Now, you see, my mother has wider and smaller feet than I do...she usually wears a 8-8.5 RARELY a 9 (the only pairs of shoes that she owns that are 9-9.5 are boots). They were cute, simple, black slip on low-heels and after walking in them around school my feet began KILLING me, but I looked absolutely adorable in what I was wearing so I didn't complain too much. WHY is it that women sometimes choose pain over comfort when it comes to fashion? How come we at times wear amazing heels that gives us the posture of early man while our salaries our smoldering at the ends of our skirts because we "NEED" those Valentino stilettos that just came out in Nordstrom's?

I always choose comfort. I don't care what shoes look like as long as they fit and they don't bother my feet.

It's usually a pain for me to find good shoes anyways because I take a size 10.
