well there is some evidence that suggested maddy's body was put into the boot of the car the McCanns were hiring, hairs were found amongst other 'DNA' type evidence to suggest that her body was decomposing.

Police say that it is hard to believe that the hairs could have gotten there any other way. But this is old news and I'm not sure what the latest is.

I think Kate McCann accidently killed Maddy using sedatives... Maddy found it hard to sleep and apparently had too much energy, so the theory is that her mum tried to make her sleep but give her too much and then when she realised what she had done...her and Gerry made it look like an abduction and disposed of poor Maddy's body.
