"The Silence of Being Alone"
Written By: Blk Sapphire

Don't you find it rather odd
That everytime you lay your head at rest
A question will come to you in a quivering dream?

Don't you find it rather odd
That when you brush your palm against the bedsheet beside you
There's no one ever there?

Isn't it rather strange
That each moment of the day you blink you eyes open to
Only air is breathing in your room?

You're alone,
it's as simple as that,
no one's there,
and no one can save you.

You'd jump off a cliff
Hoping someone below is there to catch you
You'd cuddle with a pillow on your couch with some hot cocoa
Awaiting someone to burst in through the front door
You'd take a bath and drop the soap
Shouting for someone to help you find it

When's there's no one there,
no one's ever home,
and you're all alone.

Don't you find it questionable
That you keep talking to yourself in your dead sleep?

Don't you find it questionable
That you have no one to keep you warm?

No one,
but the silence,
of being alone.

A beautiful and tragic poem too!! Looks like someone lost someone dear and has penned the pain of being alone.

Yes, it is an irony, that we get so attached knowing fully well that we shall lose them one day.
