I know it doesn't affect the whole world but part of the world at least... I wonder if anyone has any concern about bird flu as I shake like a leaf any time i only hear the name!!! I have to go to Thailand soon for business matters of my dad and i can't tell him no!! I'm completely terrorised about the thought of getting bird flu... http://www.drugdelivery.ca/bird-flu.aspx has an article really frightening to me.... I wonder if I have to buy Tamiflu or Relenza to take during my travel? please help me...
here's an extract that i found very frightening..
For example, Dr Iea Longini, a well known biostatistician warns keen travelers that they should avoid travelling by air, because “Aero planes re-circulate air which is ideal for spreading a flu virus throughout the whole cabin.”
Dr John Treanor, a researcher of the bird flu vaccine warns both students and teachers that spending your time in a place where lots of people crowd together increases the risk of being infected.
please tell me what you think about it!!!
Is bird flu still running rampant in Thailand? If it is and your concerned then I wouldn't go.

Same, I'd stay away, probably forever, as I've never really wanted to visit anyway.

Zombie penguins are even better than live ones & dead ones, it's the best of both worlds.

One of my friends once watched "28 Days Later" while high & decided the world had ended & zombies had taken over, so he & his buddies locked themselves in the bathroom all night with shotguns & a mini fridge O_o

I'm off topic too. Sorry.
Apparently there is a horse flu type deal now too.
I'm not really sure about it.

I only just heard it the past 2 weeks or so. Lots of horses have it in a couple of the states in Australia.
I don't think it can be passed onto Humans.
