It's mainly kids that cant get any in the area in which they live for one reason or another, they wouldn't know what to do if left alone with the opposite sex for more than a second or two, probably sh*t themselves in fear.

The whole point of having a girlfriend/boyfriend is being with someone you enjoy, someone you may or may not want to marry, not just having some imaginary person a million miles away so you can tell your friends all about the excellent cybering the two of you do.

Who are all people who can't cut it with actual people, they need someone they can't see to work up some confidence.

for some people, yea. others go because it offers a lot more options. theirs isn't a whole lot of options at school and work. the bar scene doesn't offer much for any long term relationship either. if a few need it out of shyness then all the better for them, nothing wrong with that.

They sure do.
I know lots of people who actually :heartpump love people they meet on MSN.. But, I think it's stupid.
and especially for kids, under 14!
I'M 13 GOING ON 14 AND ALL MY SCHOOL MATES HAVE BOY/GIRLFRIENDS..
 they are stupid..
But adults should have boy/girlfriends so they could find their soulmate and stuff..

My point exactly. Just because you talk to someone for a few minutes on MSN doesn't mean you know everything there is to know about them, and it is stupid to have met someone in another country a few days before & go around telling people you've got a girlfriend. You don't, you're making yourself look desperate. Kids 13 & 14 years old should be more focused on schoolwork than on dating & stuff like that.
I agree, once a person has a job, etc. they have a right to mess up their life by dating & things, at least most adults have the sense to date actual people, not some random they meet on the internet.

Probably because they're more comfortable expressing themselves, older people like me have already gotten it out of the system (though not in all cases) and find it boring to keep saying 'I'm horny' all the time.

Well when a 13 year old gets a b/f or a g/f can you honestly call it a relationship? I wouldn't. I personally think 13 is way to young to be dating. I also think that when their friends get a significant other they feel the need to get one also

ya, like you need to get laid or hook up with someone states away. don't worry about it a boyfriend/girlfriend will come when the time is right. No, they won't. Things don't just come if you wait for them. There is never a 'right' time, such a thing presumes the existance of fate or something.
me too, and I'm only 14!Yes, well I had mostly gotten it out of my system by 14 as well... or maybe not, it is hard to remember. I think I was still looking, but less fixatedly and with more criticality towards potential girlfriends, ala, the ability to notice personal flaws rather than being blind to them for their being a receptive female.
me too, but that's probably because I liek to keep those time of horniness between, me, myself, and that giant plant at the back of my room...That sounds pretty cool, I actually just got this awesome potted ivy from a friend who's in Bermuda now but I gave it to my mom.
please, for the love of god, NEVER mention that plant again. There are far too few people with a fetish for plants, I would prefer to hear more actually.
Well when a 13 year old gets a b/f or a g/f can you honestly call it a relationship? I wouldn't.I would. A relationship's a relationships. You find shallow and deep relationships at all ages. The way I felt for girls at that age is deeper than the way many adult men I see around feel for their girlfriends. It was probably more purer and selfless compared to how I feel today being so overanalytical.
I personally think 13 is way to young to be dating. I also think that when their friends get a significant other they feel the need to get one alsoWhy do you personally think that? It is not a matter of number, to me it is a matter of priority and preparedness. Like if you are dating to ignore voids in other important areas of your life or not. Obviously doing it to be like your friends is not a significant reason.
