We do have uniforms too. From Monday to Thursday, we wear a checkered skirt and a white blouse with a necktie having the same color as the skirt. On Fridays, we wear our dark blue jogging pants and our white PE t-shirt with the small logo of our school on the left.

I would quite frankly take leave of my senses if we were forced to parade around in yellow.
We have a "dress code" that's a bit more overbearing than the standard code of our school district. Basically collared shirts [solid and polo-styled] with only navy blue, white, yellow, and kakhi colors allowed.
GAHHHHH!! >_<;;

When I was in school I'd have had a fit if I had to follow any sort of dress code. I work now, & I still dont have a dress code, haha, I can wear whatever I want.

We have a dress code at my school but no one ever listens to it...but then again at my school the teachers arnt really cared how we dress...we have to go through metal detectors so the less clothes you wear the less places to conceal a weapon lol.

golly... you people live in crazy towns. i can wear whatever i want to school... it doesnt really matter, but there is a tiny dress code. you cant show too much skin. haha, thats it. i live in a nice, quiet peaceful town of a whopping total of 15,000 people, lol, and our schools are the best in the whole state. its quite shocking. but a lot of people here are rich and snobs. so yeah. haha. =]

Only ONCE have I attended a school with a uniform and it was a Baptist private school. I couldn't stand it. Luckily that only lasted for pre-school and a few months of kindergarten before my mother pulled me out of that. Hahaha. There is a dress code at my school which no one really follows ... the only thing the administrators get on students about honestly are any kind of hats that isn't of the school's. I do not know why JUST that when I see girls dress like skanks everyday. I think that is more important to be distressed about other than a cap.

in my school, you can practicly were wat eva u want. you just cant wear shorts or skirts that go above your mid thigh, and no spagettigh straps. or riped pants, but nearly half the school only has riped pants. im a gal and my town beats 15,000 by far! i live in a town of 200 litaraly! 200. not 2,000 , 200!!! lol right?!!! i could not stand a uniform, well i guess if it was something cool, like no, girls have to where skirts. skirts, big ew!! i would not mind like jeans and ablak tee every day. but i could not stand to where yellow every day! i would like, like DIE!!!!! i like purple , lime green and black! :stare:

i think uniforms are way of making everbody feel equal! if you didn't have uniforms then people with money would wear designers and those with slightly lesser resources would be left watching. So i guess uniforms are pretty cool!!
our uniform was pretty simple! white shirt, black pants and a black tie. blazers in the winter.

I think uniforms are bad because it doesn't allow people to express their personality with how they dress and present themselves. You know?

i think you shouldnt base your personality or yourself off of how you dress i mean thats one way to show it but you have to be able to express yourself through the way you act.
