"Musical Secret"

I hear the horns,
the soaring of the musical notes,
and I have the feeling;
a feeling to get up and move,
not gyrate like kids of today against a man's solid body,
but dance as if I am in a room with no one watching me.
The vibrations of the floor,
from my feet up to my head,
down in every bone,
the need to sing at the top of my lungs under a burst of water,
because I know no one is listening.
How much louder can I sing,
how much more silly can I be dancing alone in my room,
who can actually see or hear me?
I feel like a fool, but I quite frankly could care less,
if my grin makes you want to turn your guts inside out,
let it be that I continue to grin as if I know a secret.
Little giggles here and there,
I'm aware of what you aren't,
as I listen to the keyboard tingling with charm,
straight from the fingertips of the keyboardist to make music
so sweet and so daring,
making me feel like I'm on the tip of a mountain's ledge,
ready to drop at a velocity unknown to every man,
to sink only deep into a sea of sounds.
My tongue can taste the music,
my heart can pump blood faster than the drums,
my mind is spinning at 150mph,
and my body is going along with the sensations.
If my grin makes you want to turn your guts inside out,
let it be that I continue to grin,
because I know the secret.
