Plus, in the future please put your thread's in the correct forum's. This shouldn't of been in the General section, it belongs it Games. As it is for game use, so i've moved it.

Having all 'next gen' consoles, and all of the previous 'next gen' consoles, I think I can fairly say the PS3 is a massive waste of money.
The Xbox 360, while buggy, has all the game developers worth mentioning and hence the games.
And the Wii is just a plain better system.
If you need a Multi-media system, buy a PS3 - but seriously, who doesn't already have a DvD player, etc? And for the Blu-ray, an attachment is easily bought and installed onto the 360 if they increase in popularity.

Wii sucks =/
It was/is a poorly thought out & executed device, the whole moving to make the person on screen move sucks, the whole point in playing a video game is sitting on ones ass while mashing buttons, not jumping around, getting that heart pumping, do you have any idea how hard it is to be lazy when all of the games require you to get up & actually do something?

I disagree wholeheartedly about your ideal style of playing a game; but that's neither here nor there.
My admiration for the console is mostly derived from its specs, its abilities as a console - and that I enjoy the way in which you can play the games, Metroid 3 for example (I can't wait to get my hands on it).
And anyway, currently the Wii has the highest amount of consoles sold out of the three - hardly poorly thought out or executed marketing wise eh?

I don't know any of the specs on it & I have no clue how many were sold, I'm just speaking from my point of view, when I'm playing a game I like to sit & do nothing, not move around & exercise, I might as well just go out & actually do whatever I'm pretendintg to do on the screen. Seriously, do you know how much more fun it would be to go randomly kill hookers than to play GTA for Wii (Dunno if theres a GTA for Wii, but it's an amusing concept)? I personally don't see any point in buying any of them, because in a few months they'll be leaking rumors about the PS4 & the X-Box 365 or Wii2, I dunno, but it hardly seems worth whatever the pricetag (Don't know the pricing on any of them, but I seem to remember the Wii was cheapest by a few hundred) is for something that'll be obsolete before the year is out =/ I hate that about computers too, buy one & six months down the road it might as well be scrap >.>

L2Modthehardware.
I can manually upgrade my original Xbox with parts from the 360, costs a fraction of the price, so it can play 360 games... Just a matter of whether I care about the warranty anymore or not lol.

Wow, nice. I know slightly less than nothing when it comes to computers & computer related things, so I doubt I could build a properly functioning calculator. I can mess with things on my computer & that's about it, I'd probably blow something up if I tried to take apart a video game console lol.

I have a PS3. It's great. For £400 pounds at gamestation I got a PS3, two contollers and two games. You can go on the internet with it too, and it's got a blu-ray dvd player, and on their own they cost about £1000! Well worth the money I'd say.
