Amethyst Escape

[Frost]

Tears of champagne linger
on rose petal lips
Candy sighs like sugary mist
leave a trail along the way

Amethyst escape
in silver fields of frozen roses;
crescent moons snow stardust
In diamond eyes

Dark wonderland above
shapes a timeless glow in starlight
Soft leaves rustle verses in the midnight
and fall away

Ravens whisper in the branches
Airy songs drift like bittersweet fragrance
caught in fragile trees
swaying in the air

It only rains golden light here -
an arid, delicate world
of nothing
