So, I'll just get on with it.
----

Is it your cracked smile,
your paper silhouette enfolding -
waking me gradually
like warmth of
morning light?

Is it you again?
Sweet vapory whispers
of onyx mist
soft, like dewdrops and melted verses -
drizzled honey over parchment

Like a stolen glimpse, you spark
memories
of rainy autumns by the pond -
silent strolls ‘neath auburn leaves
falling
into our reflection

Is it you
that I’ve dreamed to life -

Art is good too. It shows personality but writing songs or poems show passion. There are lots of good things to show what yooh lyke to do, whether it is art or writing.

Ahhh, man, if there's two ways to express oneself, it would be through art and music. I mean, art [as in visual art] is so in-your-face; there's just nothing between the viewer and the view itself. It can make such a bold statement, you know? I mean, writing...ah, yeah, I guess it could be but really, sometimes people would rather SEE than ENVISION and imagine - though people that actually take the time to do so would probably like it. It can honestly pwn. And then music... I mean, it's just everything combined. Mental images, the mood, vibe, sometimes good lyrics, everything.

Well everyone has there own way of seeing it. Writing lyrics doesnt have to be a in yoor face kind of thing. Lyrics arwe everywhere, also lyke art. Writing lyrics/poems and art are kind of the same thing. They both speak for there selves either with song or with veiwing. Lyke if yooh listen to a sad song yooh can hear the pain, or a sad piece of art yooh can imagin the pain in the art. They are basically the same thing also. People just see it in a different way.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Comparing them is...hard, because they're not in the same ballpark. I mean, it's not like comparing one painting to another. And yeah, everyone sees things differently. In any event though it's all "art"...ha, which = pwnage.

haha Yeah. But Art and Writing is both a passion and has personality. Can art and writing be different, lyke how can it be different?

Can they be different? I would say. Yes, they both can involve passion but it's all in the delievery to the viewer/reader. I would imagine you'd get a different sense of emotion for each. For instance, if someone painted a picture of someone sitting alone in a corner crying, you'd see their pain but you're pretty much left to come up with the reasons why they're in that situation. It's there - you feel it, but it's just a frozen moment in time. However when you read about it, I would assume the author would give some descriptions about WHY they're like that. And even if they didn't, you would be able to imagine it for yourself. And everyone would have a different mental image of it. Everyone would interpret it differently [as they could with a painting, I suppose] and they would "read between the lines" differently. ...Hopefully that made some sense. Ha.

Agh. Sorry to double post, but what I mean is that the painting - the visual image may be more REAL and immeadiate to the viewer, but the verbal description is more...in depth. It's more philosophical and it allows people to ponder it in a different way. You can ponder a painting, sure, but you'd think of it differently than you would a story.

O.o.....They was yooh say (or type) what yooh just said, sounds so deep. Its...kewl...Lol. Anyways, Yeah it can be different in a way. I guess even if things seem the same they can a differences. =]

A girl is much more than she seems She's not a toy by any means Underneath all the make-up and hair There's a tag that says: "Handle with care"

A heart is not a play thing. A heart is not a toy But if you want it broken Just give it to a boy
