She is hiding in the dark
Tears streaming down her face
Unsure if to move her hiding place
Peeking thru the cracks to see
Crying please dont hurt mummy
Should she yell out loud
Or has her mother taught her proud
Shaking and tembling at the sight
Mummy and daddy's major fight
Thinking if she's quiet
They will let her be
For nothing is fine as you see
Day after day they battle on
Till one day mummy is gone
A little girl with secrets in her eyes
Face draunt and taunt from all the lies
Struggling to keep the truth in
Surely helping daddy isn't a sin
A child torn apart inside
Shouldn't have secrets to hide
The fear of what happened mummy
Firms the young mind today
For daddys love she prays
