How is it a twelve-year-old is considered by most as too young to date, yet a thirteen-year-old is perfectly old enough to start?

I just kinda noticed that trend... Just take middle school, for instance. I mean, I still think that's sorta young but maybe I'm just old-fashioned like that.

Contrary to what you think, your parents generally know best. You may think you are ready for something, but that doesn't mean you are. Ever study for a test, know that you'll pass with flying colors, be convinced the test will be a cake walk, only to fail miserably? Life is like this. Just because you think you are ready for something doesn't mean you are. My first time driving I knew I was ready for it, I knew I could do it perfectly, I was positive. 10 Minutes later the jeep was parked in my best friends living room. *Helpful hint when driving: make sure you know which pedal is the gas & which is the brake.
