been thare 3 times in 4 years. i'd SO recommend an all inclusive. the people there were great every time i went. the best one was barcelo bavaro beach resort ( if you give the bartenders a small tip only once, they usually recognize you, and, the drinks are stronger)

I landed in Punta Cana and took a bus to a resort near la romana, the Dominican is truly a nice place to visit
