Overseas TV?

Does anyone have any good recommendations of TV programs from overseas (not U.S.A.)? I know a lot of BBC shows get remade in the States (The Office, Life on Mars), but I always like seeing the originals and I figure why not take in more worldly fair.

Any suggestions?

Well, I know a U.S. network called ION just picked up a Canadian show called Durham County. It's about a detective who tracks down a serial killer in a small town.

I really love an Australian show called "The Fairies." It was never Officially canceled, but it hasn't been around for a few years. I love fairy tale related things, so that show was especially fun for me ;P
