ever wondered why people are so mean and insulting on the internet? I'm not saying everyone is and I'm not saying that the people who use this site are. However, it seems when someone has a common problem people just sit there and make fun of them instead of actually helping them. Now, there are certain cases where yes the situation is stupid and it deserves criticism, but when it's just a common problem why do people insist on insulting the person? I don't know maybe im the only one who notices it and cares.

I often wondered this too. I think that its an outlet for some people who are afraid of confrontation in real life. They are too much of a coward to say things to people to their face, so they are mean online. They are the same people who break up with their significant other over AIM or e-mail.

but im more talking about when you dont know the person in real life. like this forum for instance people can be extremely insulting for no reason at all. I just dont understand why people insist on it.

Probably because there are more *****s and bullies in the world, than there are nice people.

I also think its because people dont go into anything with an open mind anything that is different that shun away from and criticize just and the sheer fact that its different and that's stupid. people need to understand just because its different doesnt mean its bad or wrong. i dont know i just hate some people on the internet. most people are fine but there are some that just piss me off
