when you turned and left
darkness cluttered around me
it consumed me all b/c of you
i could not shake this terrible punishment
for what i did, this is what i deserved

now i sit here
alone in this darkness
not another living thing around
just me and this blade
thinking of you and what i had done
i took the blade in my hand
and slahed and gashed to the bone

now this crimson poison
runs down my forearm
like a fowing waterfall
and if i die from this poison
so it shall be
all b/c of you and what i have done

i fall to the ground
laying here surrounded by darkness
and my crimson poison
suddenly through the darkness
a spec of light shone through
it was you who'd come to save me
and you vanquished the darkness that consumed me
from then on i had light
