Miss Cyrus showed the confusion that results from a young and sometimes not so young relationship. In listing the things she hates she refers to the character and behavior of the boy: the games he plays, his vanity,on and off again feelings, way he acts around his friends that are jerks and alone. On the other hand the things she likes start out with the physical, "your hair,your eyes, your old levi's," the giddy up and down feeling that attention from the opposite sex causes in a person. As a grandmother to eight, between the ages of 6 and 13 years of age, I think the song shows that a young person in relationships needs to step back and look at what causes you to have that special feeling for someone. I want to thank Miley for this song.
